The celebration of the 40 years of Local Cultural Policies will take place on November 12th, 2019 at the “El Greco” Congress Center in the city of Toledo. It is organized by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Ministry of Culture and Sports with the collaboration of the City Council and County Council of Toledo and the Federation of Municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha (FEMPCLM).

The event will be dedicated to analyzing the role that local cultural policies have played in reestablishing links between public action and the reality of each territory, which has guaranteed cultural diversity and the conditions for equal rights of access and participation in cultural life during the past decades.

The event will analyze and discuss the evolution of local cultural policies during the last four decades and address the challenges of such policies in the future within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Attendance is free but registration is necessary before November 8th through this form.
