Virtual Multimodal Museum (ViMM), a project funded under the European Union Horizon 2020 programme from 2016-19, has recently published the ViMM Manifesto for Digital Cultural Heritage. The document is the first of the three outputs to develop in the framework of the project:  the Manifesto, a roadmap and  an action plan. The three documents aim defining and supporting high quality policies, strategic and day-to day decision making and the utilisation of breakthrough technological developments as well as nurturing an evidence-based view of growth and development impacted by digital cultural heritage and virtual museums in particular. The Virtual Multimodal Museum (ViMM) is implemented by a consortium coordinated by the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and among its objectives is  to support inclusion of Digital Culture Heritage and Virtual Museums in integrated policy approach to Cultural Heritage for Europe (European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018).
