On 18 July, Interarts ran a workshop on cultural entrepreneurship in Salt, Girona, aimed at 16-18 year-olds of migrant origin. Success stories of entrepreneurs in general and from the cultural and creative sector in particular were presented. The participants also came up with a cultural project proposal and took part in various group activities to gain insight into the importance of good communication and how to assign roles in a team. Sandra Bautista, a cultural manager and project coordinator at Interarts, led the workshop, which was part of the ‘REC Project: music, employability and multiculturalism’ under the Social Initiative Project Support Programme of the Obra Social “la Caixa”, which seeks to contribute to equal opportunities and intercultural coexistence.
