Interarts participated in the European Development Days (EDD) 2019, organized by the European Commission, on June 18th and 19th in Brussels. In this edition, development cooperation international stakeholders shared experiences and discussed progress made as regards diversity and the fight against inequality.

At our stand “Culture drives a world where no one is left behind“, visitors had the opportunity to learn about three Interarts projects, Culture at Work Africa, DECIDES Programme and SouthMed WiA, and to hear about the organization’s commitment to the 2030 Development Agenda and the New European Agenda for Culture. Also, a series of Pop-up sessions was organized in which Interarts project partners and beneficiaries shared with the public the experiences and lessons learned.

Interarts also co-organized, with sister organizations, the “Promoting gender equality through culture and creativity” Brainstorming Lab” during which “Recto / Verso” video, produced within the SouthMed WiA project, was shown.
