On 21 and 22 November 2016, three workshops were held in Bridgetown, Barbados, as part of the project DECIDES Caribbean, the aim of which was to give further training to civil society organisations (CSOs) on gender violence and domestic violence in their area. The three handbooks are now available in English. The first, led by researcher Dr. Rawwida Baksh, is on the research methodology, data collection and analysis, The second is about the workshop on project management and financing given by Interarts experts Claudia Rosignoli and Valérie Weerts, while the third provides an introduction and relevant advice on promotion, advocacy, and lobbying by activist Flavia Cherry from ASPIRE, aimed at CSOs working in these fields. DECIDES Caribbean is implemented by Interarts, Caribbean Women’s Association (CARIWA), Advocates for Safe Parenthood (Sant Lucia) Inc. (ASPIRE) and Women Against Rape Inc.
