The short video that Interarts produced this year to raise awareness of the DECIDES Programme (Cultural Rights to Promote Development and Health) is now available (please see the following link). This animated work made by PDA Films provides a symbolic representation of the core idea of the Programme, which focuses on improving people’s health and well-being through cultural cooperation for development and by creating spaces to reflect on this issue based on experience on the ground. The video was made as part of the project ‘Young people of Bamako and the exercise of sexual and reproductive rights from an economic, social and cultural rights perspective – DECIDES Mali IV’, carried out by Interarts and Family Care International/Mali in collaboration with the Association of Children and Youth Workers (AEJT) of Bamako with funding from the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation (AECID). Since its launch in 2007, the DECIDES Programme has been rolled out in various geographical areas and cultural contexts, particularly in Africa and Latin America.
