The Spanish Cultural Centers in Central America and the Caribbean foster contemporary artistic creation and production, and promote the mobility of cultural operators in the region.

In this framework, this year the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) has launched a Call for artistic residencies in various Central American and Caribbean countries to strengthen the competencies of professionals in the fields of sound, activism and performance, visual arts and curatorship, multidisciplinary arts, education and mediation, digital art, electronic arts and new media studies. The purpose is also to foster a network of arts professionals and to generate dialogue between professionals in the region.

The Call is open only to Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and the Dominican Republic, and it will be open until the day specified in the corresponding form. Those interested in applying should send to the Spanish Cultural Center of their country of residence the documents requested by the Call.
