The Handbooks for Teachers and Religious Leaders are just two of the many publications produced under the framework of the project “Cultural Rights to foster behavioural changes and women’s empowerment against Domestic Violence in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean – DECIDES Caribbean”, with the aim to contribute to reduce domestic violence in this region by promoting societal cultural changes and enhancing the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) to counter it. Throughout the implementation of this project, an exhaustive research on this phenomenon, as well as various training and awareness-raising activities, have also been implemented. DECIDES Caribbean, ended in February 2018, has recently shared all the publications produced within the project. DECIDES Caribbean, co-funded by the European Union, has been implemented by Interarts, Caribbean Women’s Association (CARIWA), Advocates for Safe Parenthood, Saint Lucia (ASPIRE), and Women Against Rape (WAR), Antigua and Barbuda.
