With the objective to involve as many young people as possible, the deadline of the photo contest launched in the framework of the project DECIDES Trinidad and Tobago has been extended to July 31, 2018.

Young people aged 17-30, are invited to send a picture representing the fight against gender-based violence (GBV) and discrimination against the LGBTI community in their country. The photo contest is part of the #YouDecideTT campaign which promotes respect for human rights and freedom from gender discrimination in Trinidad and Tobago.

All the photos will be exhibited at the Interarts office in Barcelona, Spain. The first best photo selected by the evaluation panel will win a ticket for a concert in Trinidad; and the 3 best photos selected will be announced publicly at the occasion of one of the event organized by the DECIDES TT team.

DECIDES Trinidad and Tobago is a project co-funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium led by Interarts, in partnership with the Advocates for Safe Parenthood (Saint Lucia) Inc (ASPIRE) and Caribbean Association for Feminist Research and Action (CAFRA).
