The conference ‘Sharing arts & Heritage’ will take place October 18 and 19 October 2018 at Leeunarden, the Netherlands, European Capital of Culture 2018. The programme includes a session, initiated by the team for Research and Documentation from the European network Amateo, in which John Lievens (Ghent University, Belgium) and Hamish Fyfe (University of South Wales) present the report ‘Considerations regarding Comparative European Research into Amateur Arts Participation’. Culture Action Europe recently announced that Amateo, on of its members, offers 10 sponsored places for taking part in this research session during the conference to researchers and cultural professionals who have a big interest in collecting data on amateur arts. People interested in them can contact Amateo by mail: info@amateo.org.
