In a meeting on 15 December 2009 in Brussels the Platform on Access to Culture defined its work plan for 2010. Following the recommendations of the 2009 document on the role of culture in the design of future policies that is addressed to public authorities from the civil society, the next task is to secure the largest possible dissemination of the Platform Document. Among other tasks, the participants of the meeting decided to elaborate shorter and more specific documents that will address different parties. The Platform on Access to Culture was created by the Direction General of Education and Culture of the European Commission with the objective to develop structured dialogue with the citizen. The Chair of the Platform is Mercedes Giovinazzo, Director of Interarts.
