  • Eduard Miralles, President.
  • Adviser for cultural relations of the Barcelona Provincial Council, he has, also, contributed to the setting up organizations such as Interlocal, the Iberoamerican Network of cities for culture, or Sigma, a network of second grade European local cultural administrations.

  • Javier Brun, Vice-president.
  • Advisor to the General Directorate of Culture of the Regional Government of Aragon and other cultural agents. Previously, he has been director of various festivals and performing arts fairs. During his work experience has been linked to the Executive Committee or Secretariat of different European networks, such as European Forum of Cultural Networks, Pepinières Européenes pour Jeunes Artistes and On The Move, among others.

  • Joan Giró, Secretary.
  • An industrial engineer, since 2005 he is Director General of Resources and Services at the CMT (Commission for Telecommunications Market). Previously, he held management positions at leading companies in the sector of electronics and telecommunications, as well as at the Universal Forum of Culture. He currently chairs the Social council of COETTC (Official College of Technical Telecommunication Engineers of Catalonia) and lately has been professor of Operations at EMBA course at BES of La Salle (Ramon Llull University) and at IDEC (Pompeu Fabra University) of Barcelona.

  • Gemma Carbó, member.
  • She is Project coordinator at the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Policies and Cooperation and member of the research group “Management and Administration in Social and Cultural Policies” at the University of Girona, Spain. Her professional experience has focused on the educational role of heritage and culture.

  • Gemma Sendra, member.
  • Cultural manager with a long work experience, she has held positions such as Secretary General at the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, general manager of the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, executive director of programs at the Universal Forum of Culture and general manager of the “Liceu” Opera House. Nowadays, as director of Sant Pau's Historical Enclosure, she leads the rehabilitation of the modernist set and the new project of uses.

  • Jesús Cantero, member.
  • Expert in cultural management, he has been member of different festival councils of diverse artistic areas, such as performing arts, music and cinema; also a speaker at national and international conferences on culture. At present he is the general coordinator of OIKOS, the Andalusian Observatory for the Economy of Culture.

  • Antoni Cots, member.
  • Currently Vice-president of the Catalonian Association of Dance Professionals he has created and directed numerous intercultural projects and interdisciplinary productions worldwide. Also organizer and producer of different festivals and performing arts programs in Europe. Since 2001 has co-managed a creativity and research centre “L’animal a l’esquena” in Girona, Spain, and since 2007 is the director of the Master in Contemporary Arts Practice & Dissemination at the Theatre Institute of Barcelona.

  • Lau Delgado, member.
  • Director of the Audiovisual Research and Development Centre of Granollers, his professional work experience has developed within the television and audiovisual field. Among other responsibilities he has managed the Catalan Audiovisual Fair, the Department of new formats and development of the Local Televisions Network and has been advisor at the Audiovisual Development Centre of the Diputación de Barcelona.

  • Mikel Etxebarria, member.
  • Chief of the Cultural Action Service of the Department of Culture of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, representative of the Basque language at the Spanish State Committee of the European Bureau for Lesser-Used Languages (EBLUL). President of the Aurten Bai Foundation, an ngo working in the field of standardization of the Basque language. He was a Deputy Councillor of Culture of the Basque Government between 1992 and 1995.

  • Jordi Roch, member.
  • Internal medicine specialist. Former Vice-President of the Advisory Board for music at the Ministry of Culture of Spain and president of the Spanish Confederation of Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) since 1964;a founder of this association in Catalonia and promoter of “Juventudes Musicales” in other parts of Spain. Honorary president of Jeunesses Musicales International and founding president of the Franz Schubert Association of Barcelona.

  • Antoni Traveria, member.
  • Director General of Casa Amèrica Catalunya. He has previously been director of Radio Nacional de España in Catalonia and professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Ramon Llull University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He contributes regularly to different Argentinian media, as well as other media in Catalonia such as El Periódico and Catalunya Ràdio.
