Throughout the month of November and the beginning of December 2009 Dr. Dragan Klaić, permanent fellow of the Felix Meritis Foundation in Amsterdam and resident professor of Cultural Policy at the Department of Cultural Policy of the Central European University of Budapest, was Visiting Fellow at Interarts. His stay was made possible thanks to the support of the Department of Culture and the Media of the Government of Catalonia. Dr. Klaić devoted his time in Interarts to drafting the text of his new book on festivals but also participated in a series of cultural events. On 20 November he gave a public lecture with the title “Spatial Dynamics of Cultural Organizations: Clusters, Hubs and Corridors” and on 25 November he coordinated an informal talk with Catalan festival makers. On 3 December he also participated in a panel session in the framework of the international seminar “Cultural Diplomacy”, organized by the Department of Culture and the Media and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Government of Catalonia, in cooperation with Interarts. Here follow the reports of the first two above-mentioned events.
