Pyrenne was a project proposed by Interarts in the framework of Connect, a programme of the European Commission and the European Parliament. Together with experts from the cultural sectors and linguistic policy officers (Centre Cultural de la Mercè, Girona; The Gaelic Arts Agency, Scotland; The Arts Council of Lapland, Finland and La Laiterie, France) the situation of cultural production in several territories where a minority language is used – Scotland, Alsace, Lapland and Catalonia – was analysed.

At the end of the project, a summary report was produced with recommendations along with a website, providing an important opportunity to better know other cultural programmes and centres dealing with the subject of minority languages.
