Interarts participated in 2006 in the feasibility study and organisation of the 1st ACP Cultural Festival held in the Dominican Republic, which brought together artists and companies from all the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) regions. This meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministries of Culture of the ACP countries. An expert appointed by Interarts formed part of the technical team that accompanied the process over the year, with funding by the ACP Countries Secretariat and the European Commission.
